The Head of the Research and Development Division has designed and implemented a specific training path to meet the demand of a customer for PET.
The lessons, scheduled for the entire month of April 2021, were interspersed with several lectures and webinars.
On the morning of April 7, in collaboration with LUCENSE and INNOPAPER and with the participation of ETIKA Consulting S.r.l., we transmitted the Webinar: “Sustainability of PET in a Circular Economy perspective.”
The work fits into the context of the circular economy, on the recycling of packaging materials, with specific reference to PET materials and products.
The meeting deepened the theme of recycling of materials and packaging in plastic and paper, aimed at a process for the improvement of environmental sustainability in which the LCA method is an important tool for determining environmental impact.

On April 8th, instead, another important day of the training course led by our R&D manager Lucia Gabriela Perez Amaro took place,
“Theoretical-practical course on mechanical and chemical recycling of PET for the production, characterization and technical-commercial evaluation of PET compounds for mechanical recycling”
Always in a Circular Economy perspective, we have deepened the best techniques for PET Mechanical Recycling.
Thanks, to our special speakers:
– Markus Woerz – General Sales Mgr of Coperion spoke of “Extrusion and compounding machines” for PET
– Riccardo Bresciani – Technical Support of Safic-Alcan showed us the range of “Additives” for PET.
A special thanks to the two speakers from our customers who will be engaged in this training with webinars and interesting testimonials in the coming days.
